Joe Hubel has been successfully changing attitudes about safety and preparing people to respond in emergency situations for over 30 years. He brings a great deal of knowledge and a unique understanding of how people receive and retain information. Joe began teaching independently as a First Aid and CPR instructor with both the Canadian Red Cross and St. John Ambulance in 1989. He was a regularly preferred instructor for the City of Edmonton's various department's. He also taught regularly at AGT and both The Journal and The Sun newspapers, just to name a few. He has been invited into many First Nation's communities across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. At last count, (a few of years ago) Joe had trained and retrained over 34,000 students during his career. That's a lot of practice at saying "Hello, my name is Joe." (He's gotten pretty good at it too).
Joe's use of humor is both refreshing and thought provoking. You don't get to hide in the back of the classroom when he's teaching.

"Training and educating people young and old isn't a challenge...it's my passion. I really love seeing the fear and confusion leave their eyes as they understand the information and acquire new skills."
